Soundinstallation, 4 Objects, Speakers and Wires

In this soundinstallation Alex Kasses has translated the shortest sound particles possible a waveform from sound recordings of the city into graphic elements. Four objects are created, which are mounted on wood by curving them with thin wire mesh. With the help of granular synthesis, the sound that has now been made visible as a habtic material is transformed back into an acoustic one. The circle of the installation is therefore closed. By walking through the installation, one experiences a floating sound space which is created by the harmonic indifferences of the four sounds.
